I'm Allison Taylor, and I have 12 years of business management and ownership experience. I am also a freelance writer with many published pieces, spanning many different topics. I have extreme attention to detail in my consulting, writing, and editing.
I have a BA in Environmental Studies, and am committed to maintaining a healthy balance between industry and our natural environment. During college I worked internships with the City of Brevard water treatment plant preparing a 10 year water supply plan. I also developed and implemented a Health and Safety program with MSDS sheet organization for Sytronics, Inc., a precision contract manufacturer of printed circuit board assemblies that were primarily for industrial and medical applications.
Directly after college I worked for a marketing firm, and gained tremendous experience in business organization, writing, editing, event planning, and general marketing.
In 1999, I joined Sytronics, Inc. as a full time employee. I started working in inventory, shipping, and receiving. I also gained experience in soldering, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair. Shortly after joining the Sytronics, Inc. team, I took over human resources, A/P, A/R, and production management. I became Secretary/Treasurer and part owner in the corporation. Through my time at Sytronics, Inc., I also gained experience in operating wave solder machines, automated pick and place machines, reflow ovens, and more. We sold Sytronics, Inc. in May of 2010, and assisted briefly through the transition. I now want to share my years of experience and expertise with other businesses!
My hobbies include hiking, weight lifting, exploring the outdoors with my family, enjoying good food, and looking for new adventures.
